Jerry Beeler, Principal, Beeler Guest Owens Architect
As Beeler Guest Owens’ chief designer, Mr. Beeler’s talent has bought the firm distinction for its office, hotel and housing design as well as renovation projects. A Dallas native, Mr. Beeler has designed commercial and real estate structures throughout North America as well as Europe, and oversees the award-winning design efforts of the firm.
James A. Butz, President and Chief Executive Officer, Jefferson Apartment Group
Prior to forming the Jefferson Apartment Group, Mr. Butz was the President and Managing Partner of JPI East for 12 years, a firm with real estate operations in the Mid-Atlantic, New England and Southeastern United States. Mr. Butz was responsible for acquisition, development, construction, management and sales of all JPI apartment, mixed-use and for-sale communities in these regions. Mr. Butz has 26 years' experience in the real estate development industry focusing primarily on multifamily communities.
Jerry Collin, Design Director, Kay Green Design
Mr. Collin is the merchandising firm’s leading expert in design trends for the multifamily industry. Mr. Collin has longstanding experience working in the interior merchandising industry, and has been a regularly featured writer and presenter on cutting-edge interior design concepts for new and existing multifamily developments. In today’s changing economy, his talents assure that Kay Green Design’s condo, apartment and townhome builders receive services that hit their target market, increasing unit sales and lease closings.
Darcy Garneau, AIA, Managing Principal, EDI International, Inc.
As Managing Principal at EDI International, Mr. Garneau brings a unique blend of consultant and owner/developer experience to the design, development and marketing of real estate projects including large scale residential master-planned communities, retail centers, commercial developments, office complexes, multi-use projects, assisted living centers and custom residences. He is responsible for the firm's overall management, growth and new business development and also is active in the financial management and project quality improvement processes.
Jamie Gorski, Senior Vice President, Corporate Marketing, The Bozzuto Group
Ms. Gorski provides strategic marketing direction for the entire company, overseeing all advertising, marketing and public relations efforts for each of Bozzuto's six integrated companies - Acquisitions, Construction, Development, Homebuilding, Land Development and Property Management. Jamie brings more than 25 years of multifamily marketing experience to Bozzuto, including five years as chief marketing officer for Kettler. Prior to Kettler, she served as vice president of marketing for Archstone-Smith and for Charles E. Smith Residential.
Robert Greer, President, The Michaels Organization
Mr. Greer joined Michaels Development Company in 1978 as Vice President, assuming responsibility for the company’s affordable housing program formulation. He was appointed President in 1999, directing all of Michaels’ participation in the Housing Tax Credit programs, Federal Home Loan Bank, federal HOME funds, primary/secondary financing, and tax exempt bond financing, including revitalization of public housing sites through the HOPE VI program. Michaels Development has expanded its portfolio to include military and student housing. The company owns and manages more than 40,000 units all over the United States, including the District of Columbia and U.S. Virgin Islands.
Stan Harrelson, CPM, Chief Executive Officer, Pinnacle
As Chief Executive Officer, Mr. Harrelson directs Pinnacle's strategic planning and long-term growth as the company expands further into Asia and the Middle East. Mr. Harrelson believes that Pinnacle's continued success is achieved by maintaining a constant alignment of its corporate goals and its clients' needs. Mr. Harrelson also serves as CEO and Managing Member of Olympic Investors, Cascade Affordable Housing, Pinnacle Realty Management International, Pinnacle Japan, and AMS Pinnacle Development and co-chairs the Pinnacle Foundation, a 501C3 organization focused on philanthropy in housing, health and children's causes.
W. Dean Henry, President, Legacy Partners Residential, Inc.
Legacy Partners is one of the leading developers and managers of residential and commercial properties in the Western United States. Owning or managing more than $2.5 billion in real estate assets, Legacy and its affiliated entities’ real estate portfolio consists of about 150 multifamily communities or 25,000 multifamily units, and 45 million square feet of commercial space. Mr. Henry oversees all activities regarding the multifamily portfolio. He became president of the company when Lincoln Property Company Western Region became Legacy Partners in the fall of 1998.
Richard R. Mercer, Former Director, Wood Partners (Retired) In Mr. Mercer’s role as Director of Wood Partners, he was responsible for Wood Partners’ South, West and North Construction and High-Rise Group Divisions which includes Georgia, Florida, Texas, Arizona, California and Boston. He oversaw all aspects of the as-built environment and ensured that best construction practices were maintained in all regions of construction. He was also responsible for strategic initiatives, specifically Wood Partners’ Green Team, “Small & Tall” product development and leadership training across all divisions.
