Congratulations to the nine NAHB Builder members who signed up the most new members* during the 2021 Fall Membership Drive. Collectively, the group recruited more than 150 new members from Sept. 1 to Nov. 30.

For their outstanding efforts, they have earned an all-inclusive trip to Napa Valley, Calif., courtesy of NAHB membership sponsor, Signature Kitchen Suite. Here are the top recruiters (listed in alphabetical order) in their respective HBA size category:

Large-size HBA (600+ Members)

Medium-size HBA (250-599 Members)

Small-size HBA (10-249 Members)

“As NAHB’s exclusive membership sponsor, Signature Kitchen Suite is thrilled to continue our partnership and offer this exclusive trip to the top recruiters of the year,” said Rod Gower, senior regional sales manager for Signature Kitchen Suite and LG Builder. “These members are true advocates for the growth of the housing industry, and we cannot wait to host them at our award-winning Experience and Design Center in Napa.”

For several years, the Signature Kitchen Suite recruitment competition has played an important role in supporting member-to-member engagement and motivating first-time recruiters. Thanks to the dedication of these member recruiters, the Federation’s advocacy efforts continue to grow stronger and more industry professionals are able to take advantage of the numerous benefits available only to NAHB members.

“We as members have to think of recruitment as selling our association to non-members,” said Kenneth Estes, 2022 NAHB Membership Chair. “I have people all the time say to me, ‘I am not a good salesperson.’ I tell them it’s no different than selling your goods or services to customers. If you believe in our Federation, then it can be easier and more comfortable to do than you think.”

About the trip: The prize includes a four-day, three-night hotel stay for two, as well as each traveler’s airfare, meals and transportation expenses. In addition to the great food and fine wine, winners also get to take part in the exclusive Signature Kitchen Suite Experience featuring sous vide cooking demos and learning more about the True to Food™ philosophy and Technicurean™ customer.
