The NAHB International Builders’ Show® (IBS) is the housing industry’s largest annual light construction show in the world. With a host of educational sessions each year for various segments of the industry, IBS is the perfect venue for speakers to share their knowledge and expertise with members of the home building community.

Here’s why you should share your knowledge, experience and expertise at the 2026 IBS, which will take place Feb. 17-19 in Orlando:

  1. Visibility and networking opportunities at the premier show in the light construction industry:

“IBS provides an unparalleled opportunity to speak and connect to the building industry. Their support and staff make the process effortless,” a past IBS speaker observed. “The audiences they curate are unmatched, energized and enthusiastic.”
  2. Quality of attendees and experience:

“As someone who speaks at a lot of conferences and events, the International Builders’ Show is by far my favorite one,” shared another past IBS speaker. “I wish all conferences were this well run. You can’t beat the energy, excitement, and high levels of content provided at this show.”
  3. Opportunity to learn from other thought leaders in the industry:

“NAHB is the one conference I look forward to attending and speaking at each year,” added another past speaker. “The opportunities to learn from industry leaders across the country are endless, and the NAHB staff makes preparing for your speaking sessions very easy and efficient.”

New for IBS 2026: Interested speakers can take advantage of the new consolidated proposal process for IBS Classroom Education sessions and IBS Central Learning sessions, and submit one single request for proposal (RFP) for both. Check out the Leading Topics of Interest in the RFP for topics attendees are most interested in for IBS 2026.

Please include the full roster of speakers for each proposed session in your proposal. Companies and organizations can submit a maximum of three proposals for IBS 2026; individuals can submit a maximum of two proposals.

The deadline to submit your proposal is May 6, 2025
