Project Statement

West Half was designed to be an architectural crown jewel anchoring the Ballpark District. With its all-glass stepped façade mixed with the yellow paneling, it creates a glowing entrance to Nationals Park for visitors as they pass down the newly envisioned Half Street. The project stands apart from other residential projects because of the stunning design, the amenity platform, the retail lineup, the enhanced streetscape environment, and the one-of-a-kind views directly into Nationals Park. The 465 residences range from studio to three-bedroom apartments and vary in size from 365 square feet to 2,021 square feet. In order to cater to multiple demographics, the project was designed with two distinct identities: West Half and the 1205 Collection. Each identity has its own lobby, elevator core and two distinct unit finishes. The West Half Apartments comprise primarily studio and one-bedroom apartments totaling 216 units, while the 1205 Collection has a total of 249 units featuring unique floor plans with a heavy emphasis on two-bedroom, three-bedroom and duplex penthouse units. The collections have a shared amenity portfolio.
