Measuring only 1/8 inch when installed, it’s Schluter’s slimmest movement joint to date, and blends seamlessly into any tile field by mimicking grout lines, resulting in minimal visual interruption.

DILEX-F is a revolutionary two-part system comprising a carrier profile and an interchangeable silicone inlay:

1. DILEX-FCS is the carrier profile that forms the body of the movement joint. Made from rigid polyvinyl chloride (PVC), it features two anchoring legs that are embedded into thin-set, onto which tiles are installed. It comes with a removable protective cover to prevent debris from falling into the carrier channel during installation.
2. DILEX-FIS is a silicone inlay that is installed directly into DILEX-FCS. It’s available in 10 colors to match popular grout choices and is finished with a special surface treatment that reduces dirt and dust accumulation. At only 1/8-inch wide, it becomes virtually indiscernible from neighboring grout lines.

Each DILEX-FIS box comes with 100 feet of silicone inlay and a specially designed tool to ease its installation.
