The NAHB Student Chapters Advisory Board is composed of dedicated volunteers who oversee Student Chapters membership and programs. The board meets alongside the NAHB Board of Directors, and all meetings are open to guests. If you are interested in joining the board, you must attend three meetings, including one mandatory meeting. Attendance requirements must be met by IBS to be eligible for voting. New members are voted on during the International Builders’ Show Advisory Board meeting.

NAHB Student Chapters enriches students’ educational experiences by providing real-world exposure to the building industry through NAHB membership, educational programming, and networking.

Working with a faculty advisor and industry mentors, student chapters can compete in national competitions, earn scholarships, access trade show discounts, and enjoy all the benefits of NAHB membership.
