2022 SAFE Award Winners Honor Safety Leadership, Jobsite Innovations, Mental Health Advocacy
Today the National Association of Home Builders (NAHB) named the recipients of the 17th annual NAHB/Builders Mutual Insurance Company Safety Award for Excellence (SAFE) for their commitment to strong safety programs. The 2022 SAFE Awards winners were honored at a ceremony held during the 2023 International Builders’ Show.
As the home building industry’s only award recognizing professionals who have made successful efforts to advance safety in the industry, the SAFE program honors various companies, state and local associations and individuals for their commitment to safety. These awards not only recognize efforts made in cutting-edge safety technology and leading jobsite safety programs, but also efforts in mental health programs and advocacy.
“NAHB is honored to recognize this year’s award winners for their dedication to jobsite safety,” said Jerry Passman, NAHB Construction Safety and Health Committee chairman. “Their commitment to total worker health is an achievement that should set an example throughout the residential construction industry.”
“Builders Mutual believes in the importance of promoting a culture of safety on every job site,” said Mike Gerber, President and Chief Executive Officer of Builders Mutual. “We are proud to once again be part of this important program and are pleased to be able to honor those leaders in the industry today.”
