NAHB Recognizes Leaders in Residential Construction Safety
Today the National Association of Home Builders (NAHB) named the recipients of the 19th annual NAHB/Builders Mutual Safety Award for Excellence (SAFE) for their commitment to exemplary safety and health programs in the residential construction industry. The 2024 SAFE Awards winners were honored at a ceremony held during the 2025 NAHB International Builders’ Show.
As the home building industry’s only award recognizing professionals who have made successful efforts to advance safety in the industry, this year’s SAFE program honors individuals and companies that emphasize safety in all forms, including mental health advocacy.
“Jobsite safety is a top priority for NAHB and all of those who work in the residential construction industry,” said Juli Bacon, NAHB Construction Safety and Health Committee chairman. “We are honored to recognize all of these individuals and organizations for being leaders in the field, and for demonstrating a superior commitment to safe work practices.”
“At Builders Mutual, we strive to protect and advance the unique needs of the contractor community, and there is nothing more important to us than promoting a culture of safety on every jobsite,” said Mike Gerber, President and Chief Executive Officer of Builders Mutual Insurance Company. “We are proud to once again be part of this important program and are pleased to be able to honor those leaders in the industry today.”
